Using Birds Eye Food Products To Make Cooking Easier

<?=$line->title?>

   Winter time is here and that makes us all want some good, comforting food that is easy to make.  Moms like myself are extra busy during the holidays trying to shop for gifts, go to school parties and programs and always on the go.   We moms, and dads, need dinner time to be more simpler and less stressful during this time.  This is where Birds Eye Veggies and their Steamfresh foods really come in handy.  With the Steamfresh products you just pop them in the microwave and they are done. But, I also use them in my soups and casseroles.
  I love homemade Chicken Stew and this time of year is perfect for it.  I use Birds Eye vegetables to go in my stew.  Below is a picture of ingrdients and the recipe for my homemade Chicken Stew.

  Homemade Chicken Stew
 Package of Boneless Chicken Breasts
 6 Russet Potatoes  (peeled and diced)
 Large Can of Diced Tomatoes
Package of Birds Eye Steamfresh Super Sweet Corn
Package of Birds Eye Mixed Vegetables
(Not shown 1/2 chopped whole yellow onion)
Salt/Pepper
Boil chicken breasts in large stew pot. When chicken is done add all other ingredients and salt and pepper to taste.  I cook mine until all veggies are tender and soup is thickened.  I usually cook it for 2 1/2 hours on medium heat.
Serve with saltine crackers or fresh corn bread

  Birds Eye Steamfresh foods cook right in their pouch and are ready to enjoy just after several minutes.  There are many of these foods available for you to purchase at your local grocer such as:
Rice Blends, Buffalo flavored Cauliflower, Broccoli, Chef's Favorites plus they also have several fun Disney foods your kids will love.
Steamfresh® Chef's Favorites                                        Steamfresh® Chef's Favorites
  I love all the Birds Eye Products, they are fresh and great tasting.  Also, very easy to cook with as in my stew above.  To cut time in half you can also make that stew in a crock pot.  Just add altogether and it is done in a couple of hours.
  Birds Eye was gracious enough to send me coupons for FREE food products, a grocery bag for carrying cold foods, measuring spoons and a great notebook to write down all the great Birds Eye recipes, shopping lists and more.  They would also love to present one of my lucky readers the very same set of goodies I received.  So, please try my stew, try Birds Eye food products and enter to win some great gifts from Birds Eye.  Good Luck and Enjoy!
