"The Good Fight" Series Premier Review

Tonight is the premier of "The Good Fight" and I invited several friends over to watch it on our T.V with the new Roku I was able to review.  With the Roku I was able to watch this show on CBS All Access. The Roku lets you watch Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Vudu and other channels such as free channels like YouTube and PBS.  This is a great way to watch movies, old and new, cartoons, TV shows and more.

"The Good Fight " takes off where "The Good Wife" left off.  Diane Lockhart ( Christine Baranski) and her Goddaughter, Maia Rindell, have lost all their money and they are forced to leave the law firm of Lockhart & Lee and they have to join another law firm.
When the story first begins you will see Diane fixing to retire, but she is still a woman in power.  Diane says, "there are no more glass ceilings to break."  This is because she has made her way to the top in a man's world and she can't go any higher, then she finds out all her money is gone in a Ponzi scheme.
As the show goes on you will see Diane come off her "high horse", as some call it to beg for her job back at the company she started herself, but they won't have her back.  She is in a bad marriage and separated from her husband.  This is where "The Good Fight" gets the title because Diane doesn't give up, she will fight and fight for what she once had to get it back.
But, if you never saw "The Good Wife," don't worry because this show is more dramatic and about each one's personal life.  It has a new start and you will fit right in from episode one.
All my guests had a great time enjoying popcorn, playing trivia and having drinks.  It was a great time to watch a new series with good friends.

*Thanks to Roku and CBS All Access for allowing me review their product and this show.
*The opinions of this review are 100% my own.
