The story begins one Christmas Eve when Victoria, Joseph and John gather around to hear their dad tell the story of his favorite Christmas ornament, "it has magic," their father tells them. Later that night after their parents have gone to bed, the magic of the Christmas ornament really begins. The children are magically whisked off to Santa's workshop where there are toys, reindeer and even Santa himself.
On the trip the children get to meet a very special elf while on this magical journey. The elf is named J.J. and he knows all about their family which really surprises the children.
This magical ornament has 2 gorgeous sides. One is a picture of a family enjoying Christmas with the tree and hanging stockings. The other side is a picture of Santa's workshop with toys everywhere.
