"One Christmas Bear" A Children's Christmas Book Review/Giveaway

Picture

Just in time for the holidays, Anne Vittur Kennedy has written and illustrated a darling book about a bear, his friends and family.
I received this book, One Christmas Bear", and immediately read it to my grandson.  He wanted me to read it as a bedtime story again and then on the second reading, he began to fall asleep.  He loves this book!

At the first of the book bear is playing in the snow on Christmas Day and he finds a friend, a husky pup, and they begin to play.  As the book goes on animal friends find a Christmas tree and each page counts from 1 to 10 and the number of animals on the page are the numbers on the page.  This hardback, cut out bear shaped, book helps little ones learn to count from 1 to 10.  It also teaches children the love of friends and how when the little animals are called home for bed at the end of their glorious day, they all knew they would be more than friends - they are family that learn about kindness which is a gift from God.

I love this bright, colorful, and feely book.  The Christmas tree is decorated beautifully and there are delicious, tasty candy canes.  This book truly shows the beauty of Christmas and would be perfect for any child.
