The very nice people at Sara Lee graciously allowed me to review 2 of their awesome bread products.  I am so ashamed to admit it but I have never tried Sara Lee's bread.  We have always used another brand.

But now that I tasted this extra soft and very fresh bread it is all I will be buying from now on.

The 2 loaves I tried were the Sara Lee Soft and Smooth made with Whole Grain White bread and the Sara Lee Soft & Smooth 100% Whole Wheat.

These really are the softest breads I have ever eaten.  The whole wheat kind is a very light colored bread that doesn't taste like the wheat is the bread.

Costumers asked

that Sara Lee remove the high fructose so the company immediatly followed through and answered their request.

Sara Lee was first launched in 2005 with the appearance of white bread kids love, while providing moms some of the whole grain nutrition they can feel good about.

The Attributes:

* Mild taste, soft texture

*100% whole grain

*Excellent source of whole grain (26 g per 2 slice serving)

With the new recipe for Sara Lee Soft and Smooth breads, consumers are loving the mild taste and soft textures.

The Whole Grain Wheat bread is a great source of fiber and a great source of vitamin D.  The Whole Wheat bread has  10 grams of whole grain per two -slice serving.

The USDA's My Pyramid Food Guidance urges consumers to make at least half all the grains eaten whole by getting a minimum of about three ounce equvalents of whole grain per day, or 48 grams of whole grain.  Indroducing Sara Lee breads may help reduce the risks of heart disease.
