" A Mile In His Shoes" DVD review/giveaway Closed!

They say to understand a man you should walk a mile in his shoes, and that is ever more true if that man happens to be autistic.
Based on the critically-acclaimed book written by Frank Nappi, A Mile in His Shoes is the uplifting story of Mickey Tussler, a farm boy from Bargersville, Indiana with Asperger’s Syndrome and a killer fastball, who is recruited by minor league manager Arthur Murphy, to play for the Clayton River Rats, a struggling minor league baseball team. Caught between life at home with his overprotective father (played by country music singer George Canyon)and life on the field, Mickey turns to his gift, the support of his teammates and “Murph”, who gives him the opportunity of a lifetime.

Luke Schroder (Ricky Schroder’s son) plays Mickey, his first leading role, and he does a fantastic job with the character.
I really liked this movie!  It is bound to touch your life.  If you know of someone with a handicap or if you just love baseball, you will definitely find something in this movie that warms your heart.
I recommend this movie to all families.  So pop the popcorn, set back with the family, and watch a real good movie.
