When I first used it I was looking for that fruity fresh scent, this was not the case, it actually smelt like medicine.  But after I dryed my hair I could see such a shine and softness that missing the sweet scent was not important any more.  My hair looked just great when the shampoo and conditioning was complete.  Keranique is synthetic fragrance free.
