"All Things Bright and Beautiful" Book Review/Giveaway
" All Things Bright and Beautiful", all creatures great and small, all things bright and beautiful, the Lord God made them all. Those are the verses of the first few pages of the wonderful book, "All Things Bright and Beautiful," by Cecil Frances Alexander and illustrated by Katy Hudson. I love this gorgeous book that lets little children know that God made everything and he made it all beautiful.
This book was first published in 1848 and it became the favorite book of many Sunday school classes down through the ages. I remember as a child reciting this complete rhyme and loving it.
Today Katy Hudson has taken this awesome book and added her beautifully drawn and watercolored pictures and made it into a newer version, hardback book. These pictures are so gorgeous and will draw you into the book.
Follow along in this book, as three young children spend the day learning about all the creatures, trees, waters and so much more that God created with love. These children will learn that God even created them and their eyes and lips and more. And all God created is beautiful.
My grandchildren want this book read to them every night and I am very happy to. The book really captivates all children of all ages. Below is my 7 year old reading it himself:
I am so happy to see this book back out on the shelves and now it can become a new generation of children's favorite book. It is truly one of the sweetest stories ever and I plan to read it aloud at my Bible study class for children tomorrow night. You can purchase this beautiful book on Amazon.com If you would like to win this book for your family or church group then give it a try by entering my Rafflecopter. Good Luck!
