Check Out the Beautiful Homes for Sale in Harveysburg, Ohio - Win a $25 Amazon Gift Card

Ohio Renaissance Festival

I've never been to Ohio, but we live in East Texas and have become really tired of the seasons and the home prices here are outrageous.  I have been looking at the complete overall of Ohio and a town called, Harveysburg has really caught my eye.  The weather there seems like what we want, cold winters and mild summers.  The homes run in the prices of $129,000 and up for the size of home we need.  I found a beautiful one listed by HerRealtors :

I found this town has a Renaissance Fair which sounds so fun!  It begins on September 2 and goes all the way through the end of October.  The 16th Century is something I really love and if we can find a good home, such as the one pictured above, we could move there and enjoy so many of the great sites in Harveysburg.  The fair has rides, food, over 150 Arts and Crafts shops,  a fully armored Tournament Joust, archery and you can even climb the tower to rescue a princess.
The food sounds amazing!  Food you would find in the Renaissance Times: turkey legs, roasted corn on the cob, baked bread bowls full of soups and stews, and so many other delicious sounding foods.

The schools in this town seem like the perfect size we would want our children to attend.  The neighborhoods range from Historical homes to modern developments.

Harveysburg, Ohio really looks beautiful and the festival sounds amazing.  The price of homes and schools in the area all work well with my family.  I definitely see my family and I taking a trip here soon.  Hopefully, we will be settled in our new home and ready for the Ohio Renaissance Festival this time next year.

  3. I was born and raised in a small village in NW Ohio but not as small as Harveysburg. It sounds quaint though, especially with the Renaissance Fair. I'd love to visit sometime if I could, and swing by to visit family.

  10. The home prices sound good and I would love to attend a Renaissance Fair! I would be super excited about less super hot weather than we have in the south! Although, I couldn't handle any snow in the winter.
