Who doesn't love salsa?  We here in East Texas are salsa lovers!  It is a staple in any home around my area.  I love salsa and chips.  When I was allowed to review 4 of Mrs. Renfro's sauces and salsas I was delighted.  I reviewed the Mexican Salsa, Mild Salsa, Medium Salsa and the Nacho Cheese Sauce.  The Medium Salsa was my favorite.  Usually I like my salsa a little bit "warm" and most medium salsas are to hot but this kind was perfect.

The other salsas are great too and the nacho cheese sauce is fantastic on nachos!


The story of Renfro Foods began when George and his wife, Arthurine, co-founded George Renfro Food Company in the garage of their north Fort Worth home. In their new venture, they distributed packaged spices and pepper sauces throughout Fort Worth and the surrounding areas.
At the time, few Southerners couldn't imagine eating beans or peas without homemade chow chow, especially during the cold winter months. Realizing they had one of the few commercially made, yet homemade-tasting chow chows available, the Renfros capitalized on public demand and created the popular Dixieland Chow Chow.

Over the years the Renfros developed more and more types of salsas and sauces and the company grew to what today is a large manufacturer of Renfro Foods.
With more than 30 salsas, sauces and relishes, are available at supermarkets, gourmet and gift shops and fruit and vegetable stands in all 50 states, Canada, the Caribbean and England.


The unbelievable price of these 16 oz. jars are only $3.25 a jar.  This is some what cheaper than most of the other salsas I was buying.  Notice I said ,"was buying" because now Mrs. Renfos will be my salsa of choice.

I would really recommend Mrs. Renfros salsas and sauces to anyone loving that great taste.
