Miami Vineyard CD Closed!

What happens when a group of people steeped deep in their own musical traditions of Black Gospel, Latin, Caribbean, and Anglo come together to create a new tradition and sound? What happens when the fusion of Black, Anglo, Latino, Caribbean, and Cuban voices unite together to worship in one voice? Among the 2000 people that attend the Miami Vineyard Community Church, there are over a hundred singers, instrumentalists and songwriters that make up its eclectic worship ministry. For one night, 20 of these musicians joined together in worship and invited the church to document the sound that is uniquely MIAMI VINEYARD LIVE.
Miami Vineyard is an awesome assortment of gospel songs. I reviewed this CD and as a great lover of gospel music, I really enjoyed this CD.
From anthems of praise and proclamation to songs of intimacy and adoration, there is a common thread running deep throughout this recording and that is true worship of the Living God as an expression of His Kingdom breaking in on the streets and beaches of Miami, FL.
Here is a little something about the Vineyard Church:
Vineyard Worship exists as an organic extension of the Vineyard church movement in the USA (Vineyard USA). They are, in a phrase, "from the church, for the church". They are not a music company first and foremost; we are a non-profit worship ministry. Their efforts will be centered in the cultivation and empowerment of the core value of worship in the Vineyard or more simply put "to help the local church e xperience God", rather than in a profit-driven music business model.
They believe that the Vineyard continues to have a unique voice and quality in the broader Church's experience of worship. They believe that the songs, words and expression of their worship are different because they are informed and infused with Vineyard core values -- intimacy, accessibility and authenticity. Their music is not written from within a vacuum; it comes from the trenches of local Vineyard church ministry as they seek to experience engaging the Kingdom of God in their local communities. The founder, John Wimber, said that their worship leaders should be ministers first and musicians second. They still believe this is a vital emphasis for them. These members make it their aim to instill this servant's heart deep into the Vineyard worship community.
So that is where these groups of singers come from. The Miami Vineyard is a CD where a great group of people are spreading the gospel through their music,
I believe you will like this upbeat mix of gospel songs. I loved it and I would love to share this CD with one of my lucky readers.
