  Learning Resources has a awesome group of Play and Pretend Food Sets.  These food items are so realistic!  They actually look like real food and they last forever in any play area.  I love the feel of these food items.
  I reviewed a Play and Pretend Picnic Food Basket.  These include some of the following food pieces: a chocolate ice cream cone, four potato chips, cob of corn, hamburger patty, two-piece hamburger bun, slice of watermelon, pear, roll, cake and chicken leg. Includes shopping basket with carrying handles and a red-checkered plastic tablecloth. This picnic set sells for $22.99

  I love these food play sets!  Imaginary play is the best way for children to play.  I could watch my grandchildren play with this food for hours.  Their imagination can invent many different food play. 
  I would recommend this, and all the other Learning Resources play food sets, to schools for their centers, homeschool centers, for children with special needs, and for any home with children.  Fun for hours while children learn!
