"The Good Book" DVD Review

"The Good Book" is a wonderful movie produced by Mainstreet Productions.  This remarkable movie is a silent film, but when you watch it you will see that words are not needed.  "The Good Book" tells the story of a small New Testament that is passed from different people, with different life situations, to others that need to read God's promise of love and hope.
The first person to pass the New Testament on is a little boy named Daniel.  Daniel accidentally catches the house on fire and this causes him to run away.  When Daniel is suspected of injuring a man, which he is innocent of,  he gets off when another boy confesses.  This causes Daniel to pass the book on too another man who will soon find out he needs the book as well.  The book is passed on from one person to another.  The story continues until 14 people have read the book and 7 of them have life changing effects from God's holy words.
"The Good Book" movie has a beautiful soundtrack of music being played throughout the film.  The actors are really good  and most of them are real home schooled students.  At the close of the film there are testimonies from a  Bible smuggler and a convicted murderer who received received a Bible while in prison.
I would definitely recommend everyone watching "The Good Book".  It is uplifting and reminds us all of God's love in every situation.
