Bible Belles- The Story of Esther Review/Giveaway

  Bible Belle's is a brand new children's series of books that represent women of the Bible.  The series include 5 super hero women : Hannah, Esther, Abigail, Ruth & Deborah.  There is also a girl in every story named Rooney Cruz who gets into situations that she doesn't know how to handle, and with the help of her little pocket sized angel, she gets to go back in time when these 5 woman were becoming heroes.
  In this particular Bible Belle story you will read how Rooney finds out about Esther.

  The story begins when Rooney is playing soccer and although she loves the game, she really gets discouraged at a girl named Amanda for hogging the ball and not letting anyone else get a chance to play.  
Rooney wants to tell the coach what she thinks, but just as she does her little angel, Mari stops her.  This is when she tells her about Esther.
  Esther was called upon by the king to become the queen.  Esther knows no one around the palace and her cousin, Mordecai visits and tell her that he will always be there for her.  Mari brings Rooney to a room full of men and she sees Mordecai in the mist talking with a man named Haman and Haman has ordered Mordecai to bow down to him or he will have the king write a decree to kill all of Mordecai's people.  Of course Mordecai refuses saying he only bows to one, true God.
  Mordecai gets word to Esther so she can tell the king of Haman's plan.  But, Esther knows now isn't the time to tell the king. She must have patience and wait until the right time,which is 3 days.  Esther invites both the king and Haman to a second feast where it all plays out and now the king rids Haman of his plan and saves Esther and her family.
   As Rooney is brought back to the future she knows she now has the strength of Esther to have patience and find the right time to  speak to the coach.  It all works out and Rooney has earned another bell from Meri.
   I love these Bible Belles because they teach our children the way to have a voice, but in a right way just like those wonderful women of the Bible.  Teaching our daughters and grandaughters about these heroic women of Biblical times are in the Bible for a reason: their stories can be used today as lessons for future generations.
