Colton's Time Machine Book Series Review/ Giveaway

Colton's Time Machine American History Series for Kids

In the treehouse, Colton went over to the shelf, took down 11 boxes of cereal, and put them on the command chair. Then he went over and started the generator, turned on the television, and sat down in the chair. He took the dragon glasses out of his shirt pocket and put them on then opened up the handheld typewriter and typed in Dragon Land, and pushed enter. The wind started whipping around him like a tornado creating a terrible noise, so he covered his ears.

Before long, Colton was falling through the air. Then, slat, he landed on the purple ground with boxes of cereal crashing down on top of his head. He picked up the boxes and put them on the rock table, then he yelled at the top of his lungs, “I’m here!”

All the dragons came running out of their caves when they heard Colton’s voice.

“Where are we going?” Oreo asked.

“I’ve chosen three important places in our American history,” and excited Colton said taking off dragon glasses and putting them in his shirt pocket. “Now hurry up and form a circle around me and take hold of hands.”

There's A Monkey In My Backpack

I just read the best book titled, "There"s A Monkey In My Backpack".  This book touched home to me because I have a grandson, that I raise, who has a sensory disorder and this makes it hard for him to "fit in" with school and things like sports ect...
Anna goes to school and unlike the other 3rd  graders in her class, Anna has a monkey in her backpack.  The monkey tries  to get Anna in trouble in class and to get her to do disruptive things.  The monkey also helps Anna do good things and to complete her work.  You see the monkey is actually a learning disorder and Anna is afraid she will not finish the 3rd grade.

"In The Flesh" a book by Michael Gabriele

I recently read a remarkable book that was written by the author  Michael Gabriele.  This book is titled, "In The Flesh".  It is written from the view of Jesus himself.  The most remarkable story ever told is written as Jesus felt, loved and died.  Walk with Jesus from 3 years before his death, to his death, then the resurrection.
I love the story of Jesus and his walk on Earth as a human through the picking of the apostles and on up until the crucifixion.  Having read the Bible, watched movies and heard the story, I definitely know the ending, but never have I thought about how Jesus actually felt during those times.  Michael Gabriele places you in the sandals of Jesus and you come about as close to the real thing as possible.

"Healing the Nation" a Spiritual Book for Healing America by Tom Donnan Review/Giveaway

Healing the Nation by [Donnan, Tom]

"Healing the Nation" is a powerful book by the author Tom Donnan.  This book will definitely open your eyes to the destruction of our country and what we, as Americans, as people, can do to ask God to save us.
Tom Donnan was pronounced dead by a heart attack in Feb, 2006, but God saved his life and has used him to tell others about the plan to save America and ourselves.  Churches across America have become mediocre and we people are straddling the fences with our relationship with God.  Tom has had many dreams that he in turn tells people what they represent.
