The Doux - Hot Hair Care Review/Giveaway

Inline image 1

Get ready to “drop the mic” on the beauty aisles at Target stores this December. The Doux® (pronounced The Do) is a “new school” modern hair care system with an “old school edge.” With packaging that is bold and bright and product titles inspired by 90’s hip hop, The Doux is poised to kill it with those seeking a way to smoothing curly, kinky, and wavy hair into both, curly or straight styles.

Created by Maya Smith, a 25-year celebrity stylist and International Curl Master, The Doux was first launched in Europe in 2011 in response to her passion for helping people master the hair they were born with. STRAIGHT, NATURAL, CURLY, or RELAXED, according to The Doux, if you grew it, it’s ALL GOOD. “I was living in Germany at the time, had my own salon there and my specialty was helping clients to transition to a relaxer-free lifestyle. I’m obsessed with people maximizing the potential of the hair they were born with. Mastering curls is my passion and purpose,” explains Smith.

Niucoco Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Logo

I recently received some amazing shampoo and conditioner from the company Niucoco.  Niucoco was developed to create a shampoo and conditioner that would give you that salon look, but not hurt our environment.  James, a scientist, financial analyst and enthusiast stumbled upon cold pressed coconut oil made with hand picked coconuts.  James wanted to share this great find, so he shared it with his friend, Martin.  Martin was also a financial adviser and he saw that most beauty products were made with toxic ingredients so he teamed up with James and together they brought their finds to a scientist, Yasmine.
Yasmine then joined James and Martin to develop a shampoo and conditioner that was non-toxic and even her little niece could use it. This is when Nuicoco was invented and I love it!

Carapex Shampoo, Conditioner and Foot Butter Cream Review

A group of researchers in the 1980's decided to look into why certain species were longer-lived than others, and what caused their cells to stay healthy for such long periods. They also looked into people who kept their youthful appearances well into their years, and did extensive testing based on their findings.  The resulting complex was expensive, difficult to produce, and very rare; thus it was only available to a very small group of elite cosmeticians and dermatologists who only used it on the rich and famous people.  Carapex has created a full line of body care products using this complex, now called the Carapex Moisturizing Complex. Their goal is to make this amazing Complex affordable and available to everyone, and include it in an ever-growing range of quality products.
I had heard of Carapex and new it was suppose to be some very wonderful working skin and hair products, so when I was contacted by Carapex to review a few of their products, I was tremendously happy.
The first product I reviewed was the Body Butter that works great on my dry, cracked heels and rough feet.

Fashion Flowers by Mia Beauty Review/Giveaway

I absolutely love the new look for girls and women's hair--flower headbands.  The style today reminds me of the 60's when real flowers were worn in the hair.  Mia Beauty has some gorgeous Fashion Flowers headbands in different styles and colors, but Mia has added something extra to these headbands- lights. Turn the flashing lights on by pressing the leaf.  There are 4 different speeds for the lights: slow flashing, fast flashing, constant and lights off.
These flower headbands would look beautiful in a wedding for the flower girls to wear or all the bridesmaids.  They are simply beautiful.
I reviewed the Blush Roses with white lights.

Mia Beauty Tony Ties Review

Ladies we all love to wear ponytails right?  But don't you hate to use rubber bands that pull our hair out and break your hair off?  Some of the ponytail bands are just as bad for your hair as rubber bands.  Mia Beauty has some adorable Tony Ties that won't hurt your hair and they come in different colors and even with rhinestones.

Mia Braidies Review/Giveaway

Today's top hair fashion definitely includes the braid.  If you are like me, it's hard to braid your own hair.  Mia Beauty has made this easy with their wonderful headbands of thick and thin hair braids, in most of the average hair colors, and the cost is very inexpensive.
I was allowed to review one of Mia's Braidies and I chose the color Dark Brown so that my grandaughter could wear it and tell me how it worked in her hair.  Hailey, my grandaughter, has really dark brown hair, almost black, so I was worried the braid wouldn't match.  But it did!  Mia's Braidies matched Hailey's hair perfectly.

Truth in Aging Shampoo & Conditioner
Review

Truth in Aging is a large community of men and women who test, and review, products for 30 days.  If these products are good and they believe people will buy them then they will be for sale on the TIA shop.
Truth in Aging sent me a bottle of shampoo and conditioner to review for them. I am getting older and my hair is thinning and looking oily so I desperately needed something to help with these hair problems. Hair Vitality Shampoo works great on your hair.
