Shaw Body Care Treatment Review/Giveaway Closed!

Review/Giveaway

Brad at Shaw Treatment was gracious enough to allow me to review a set of their body care products.
Not only is Shaw Treatment a company with your hair and body works in mind, they are also very concerned about charity work.
Brad Arsenault, Co founder and Vice President of Shaw Treatment, Inc. studied business at the University of Guelph and has been influenced, encouraged and intrigued since a young age by entrepreneurial spirit and creativity.
As a boy in elementary school, Brad was greatly influenced by his grade six teacher, Mr. Tobin, a South African born man who emigrated to escape Apartheid. The seed had been planted and would later flourish as Brad came to realize that Shaw Treatment could be a source for change.

Today South Africa and neighboring Sub-Saharan countries face a variety of new and old threats alike including, the spread of HIV/AIDS, cholera, famine, drought, malaria, tuberculosis, and even diabetes an epidemic also being experienced in North America. Let’s not forget Kenya or the plague of disasters that have struck the Darfur region of Sudan.
Africa is a continent in need but it is also a continent filled with great people, and thus great hope. The political stage is set and governments have finally taken notice. But there is still a long way to go.
Shaw Treatment was founded as a social enterprise in 2004. For us it means simply that they intend to operate as a for-profit business with the intention of donating funds to charities working on relief efforts throughout Africa.
Shaw Treatment  donates over 25% of each sale to grass-roots community-based programs in Africa and they even let YOU CHOOSE which program you want to support. Purchase any product and you can choose to dig a well, buy a mosquito net, support women and children with HIV/AIDS or provide a bicycle to bring medical care to remote communities. By choosing Shaw Treatment you have made a social decision to make the world a better place.

I tried the Shaw Treatment Jet Set and the products are awesome!  The first thing I noticed was the wonderful smell!  Awww!  These Swahili Coast products smell like you have been by the coast with mangos and coconuts all around!  The mixture of rich botanticals and natural oils have a delightful blend of Mango, Papaya, and a hint of Coconut.  Not only does this shampoo and the conditioner make your hair smell totally great, it also works wonderful.  These products left my hair feeling so soft and it had so much volume and shine!
I also used the body and face wash and the hand lotion, they too are excellent.
At Shaw Treatment they only use natural ingredients that are high in anti-oxidants and anti-bacterial properties, such as shea butter and jojoba seed oil, along with scientifically proven preservatives to ensure their products are safe for you and your sensitive skin. Shaw Treatment products do not contain parabens (including grapefruit seed oil), sulfates, or animal by-products and are not tested on animals. They are designed using agriculturally sustainable ingredients which are also biodegradable, so they are not only safe for you but for the planet as well.
Shaw Treatment even offers a 365 day guarantee and on orders over $25.00 you will receive free shipping.
If you really want a great hair and body product then you need to try Shaw Treatment.  I promise you will be happy with the results.  Plus-what a great company that gives back!  I love that they are concerned with others in need.  I totally recommend these products!
