I was so excited when Ernie's Salsa allowed me to host a review/giveaway for 2 of his awesome salsas. I was able to review the "Gourmet Red" and "Perfect Peach Salsa". They really are great!

It took Ernie 25 years of trial and error to get the exact taste he wanted.
Ernie had been making salsa for his friends and taking it to all the parties and get togethers. His salsas were the life of the party. Ernie wanted the taste of his salsa to be different, but also definitely a salsa that would go great with tortilla chips like the kind served in good resturants.

I tried the "Gourmet Red" first. Now, my family is definitely a chip and dip eater kind of family. Mexican food is one of our very favorite choices to eat when we go out to dinner.
I loved this salsa!!! I love the fact that it was not "too" hot.
Here are the ingredients in this perticular salsa.

"Gourmet Red"

Made with: Tomatoes, Green Bell Peppers, Yellow Onions, Jalapeno Peppers, Crushed Garlic, Cider Vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce, Sugar, Citrus Juice, Salt, & Pepper.
This salsa is a little warm, with the good taste of the garlic and peppers mixed all together. Tangy but that's how I like it! The perfect chip dip.
Not to hot for sure.

The other salsa I tried was the "Perfect Peach"
Here is the info on this salsa:
Tomatoes, Peaches, Green Bell Peppers, Yellow Onions, Jalapeno Peppers, Crushed Garlic, Cider Vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce, Sugar, Citrus Juice, Salt, Pepper.
Notice that Ernie used just about the exact ingredients except this one has the peaches. To me, the peaches made it a little sweeter so I would advise eating this on eggs,omelets, hamburgers, ect..... But, only you know what tastes good with what. It is a very good salsa. My grandchildren eat it with their tortilla chips and love it because it is not too hot for their mouths.


Besides ordering Ernie's Salsa online you can purchase it at several grocery stores, Martins and WholeFoods are 2 examples.

I would recommend this salsa to anyone who loves a good salsa and for anyone who wants to try a GREAT salsa ---you will become a Ernie Salsa lover for sure!
