review/giveaway

Katherine Dines is an award-winning children's songwriter, recording and teaching artist who performs throughout the world.  Hunk-ta Bunk-ta is the name of Katherine's music line.  Founded in 1991,this great music company is committed to producing music-based materials of the highest quality in order to entertain and educate children, their families and loved ones, educators and early childcare providers.

An advocate for literacy and early childhood education through the arts, she serves on several national boards, presents keynote addresses and educational workshops, writes and produces songs for a host of clients, and licenses her material to projects for children. In addition, she continues to expand Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta® Music into other product areas including books, toys and television.

To date, there are 10 albums in the award-winning Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta® series.  Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta® Music recordings have garnered numerous awards from such prestigious organizations as: Parents’ Choice, National Parenting Publications, Coaltion for Quality Children’s Media, Children’s Music Web, Dr. Toy, The Wolf Trap Institute, and two songs have been Grammy nominated.

Katherine sent me a CD to review.  This is the cutest CD.  The music is perfect for my 3 year old grandson, Brinner.  He was really excited when I played it.  Hunk-ta-Bunk-ta "Wiggle" has 12 songs on it. Brinner loved all the songs but "Itchy Itchy Owie Owie Boo Boo" is his favorite one.  This CD is a constant playing when we are in my car.  Today my other grandson, Brice, who is 8 years old, had this CD in his stereo listening to it!

I also love the decorative music cover.  Katherine uses all kinds of cute images on the covers of these CD's.
I love that Hunk-ta-Bunk-ta music has easy to learn and fun songs.  Brinner loves to sing and after just one week of listening to this awesome music, he is running around repeating the songs word for word.  This CD sells for $13.98.
My sister owns a daycare in our town and I have already suggested she buys some of these DC's for her classrooms.

Where can you buy some of these great CD's ?  Order Hunk-Ta-Bunk-Ta music and other products right here.

  48. Music and children are a perfect match. Children are free to express themselves through music. There is no right or wrong with music. Kids naturally sing and singing shows a happy child.
