"The Hour" DVD review/giveaway Closed!

review/giveaway

"The Hour" is a six part set that is soon to be out on DVD.  Romola Garai, Dominic West and Ben Whishaw star in "The Hour", a thrilling drama set in 1950s London when the BBC is about to launch an entirely new way of presenting the news.
This movie takes you behind the scenes of a news studio and the people who bring you the headlines.  "The Hour" lets you see the personal side of the reporters and the anchor people.
Bel Rowley and Freddie Lyon spot their opportunity to be a part of a brand new current affairs program at Lime Grove Studios. But as Freddie's interview looms, a chance meeting with an old friend finds him pursuing a new story and he soon finds himself wrapped up in an odd adventure that he never suspected to happen.
Hector is set out to become  the top anchor.  But, this annoys Freddie, who wants the job.  He is very outspoken and he always seems to get in to trouble with what he says. Over the six episodes, the interplay of intense ambitions between the rising news team play out against the backdrop of a mysterious murder and Freddie's controversial and dangerous investigation.
"The Hour" is about to go live and there are tensions for all as they prepare to defy government instruction and deliver a controversial episode on the crisis in Suez.
"The Hour" is now on Blue-Ray and the cast includes:
Starring: Ben Whishaw , Romola Garai & Dominic West
Directed by: Harry Bradbeer , Coky Giedroyc

Produced by: Ruth Kenley-Letts
Written by: Abi Morgan
This DVD comes in a 2 disc pack and has 6 episodes.
To sum this movie up I would say Freddie loves Bel who cannot help but fall for Hector, and all the while there's a deadline to meet - tracks too close for comfort to "Broadcast News." But all is forgiven in Episode 3, when the gang journeys out to Hector's in-laws' estate in the country. Here, men dress for the hunt, women dress for cocktails, a mist settles across the hills, the mystery deepens and ‘The Hour' finds a nostalgic sweet spot after all."
This is a great movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat and you may find yourself rooting on the underdog.  But whatever you like about this movie you will definitely not be bored as you watch this hour and a half  movie.

Thanks for the chance to enter! I'd watch anything with Romola Garai in it since she's a fantastic actress, but this show sounds top-notch.
