Isis has just given birth to a beautiful baby girl whom she names, Nicole. What is frustrating to Isis is how everyone is treating her and what they are saying to her.
Whenever Isis finds out she has been in a coma due to her hard labor, she decides to take a nap. When she wakes she sees Nicole is already around 2 months old and up to 20 pounds. Isis can't understand the confusion. Why is she not living back home with her roomate?
Isis begins having visions. By kidnapping, she is taken back in time to the days of Cleopatra Queen of the Nile. Deserts and panthers are all around her. The need to protect Nicole is very great for Isis. Soon Isis learns she is Cleopatra's only living heir.
Cleopatra's Heir is a very unusual story and one you will definitely not want to put down. L. Burres is the author of this book and she keeps you eager for the next page.
The Beginning is one of the 1st of a series for Cleopatra's Heir.
I really liked this book. It is cleverly written with suspense and has a great ending, (which I will not tell you :) ) I suggest everyone reading this book.
