We are a family of swimmers, fishermen, and boaters so when I was allowed to review for AquaGear I was super excited. Next to having lots of fun with all 3 of these hobbies, is making sure everyone is safe while doing so. Drowning can happen to anyone at any age and for all my grandchildren while they are on the water, must wear a swim vest, or life jacket.

I reviewed the Speedo Swim Vest from AquaGear.
This swim vest is really great. Not only does it zip closed for a snug fit, it also Velcros at the top for a extra hold. I tried out this swim vest on my 4 year old grandson and it fit perfectly.

AquaGear has a 3 step guide to swimmers with matching products:
Step 1- Child is being introduced to the water and has to completely depend on an adult for floating and swimming.
Step 2- Child is familiar with the water but still depends on a floatation device for security.
Step 3 - Child is confident in the water and uses minimum floatation devices.
I reviewed the swim vest from Step 2. Brinner is still scared of the water if it is near his head but, he loves to swim. He still doesn't need to be left alone in the water without adult supervision.
The Speedo Swim Vest is perfect for Brinner's age and weight. Brinner is shown wearing a size Medium. There is a strap that goes between the legs to prevent him from going under water if he should topple over. This vest sells for $26.95 and comes in blue or pink and in the sizes of large and medium.
