Gimme Shelter Movie Review - Win a Pair of Movie Tickets

 Gimme Shelter is a new, must see movie coming out January 24, 2014.  This movie is based on a true story about 16-year-old Agnes “Apple” Baily, a teenager who sets out to find her biological father and is forced into the streets in a true journey of survival. 



 Vanessa Hudgens, (High School Musical), stars as a pregnant teenager who has been living her life with a drug addicted mother and her mom's lowlife boyfriends. When Apple finds out she is pregnant things gets tough at home.  She decides to leave and look for her biological father so she can possibly live with him.  She finds her dad, a wealthy WallStreeter, living in New Jersey and he has remarried. Quickly she  figures out things aren't as Apple thought they would be and she can't cope with the life her dad lives. Refusing to have an abortion, Apple is soon back on the streets. Finally, she decides to live in a suburban shelter and takes on the struggles of a teen mom with a baby on the way.

 







 This movie looks to be a touching and heartwarming film.  With real life teens living in circumstances like this everyday, all across the world, it is wonderful to know that there is help for those who have nowhere else to go.  Also appearing in this film are real life teen moms and their babies.
