NOAH- A Wordless Picture Book Review/Giveaway
I recently reviewed the most fascinating book, simply titled "Noah". The most amazing thing about this book is that it is wordless. There are only pictures that tell the beautiful story of Noah and his ark based on the biblical story.
Before the great flood, Noah was told by God to build a large boat and take his family and 2 of every animal onto this boat. People laughed and thought Noah was crazy, but Noah didn't care and he trudged on. In this book you will see pictures that tell the story without the use of words. Each picture is drawn beautifully with bold colors and remarkable art work. You will feel the story through these pictures. There is no use for words - this book is amazing.
Below is my grandson with his Noah book:
Brinner loves this book and every time we read the story we notice something we didn't see the first time. The artwork will take your breathe away it is so beautiful.
Noah was reviewed by Publishers Weekly. Read the review below:
Publishers Weekly Review:
The animals are visually arresting, but their role is understated relative to the unfolding epic drama, which Ludy keeps focused on the title character. The emotional heart of the story is challenge and triumph, not catastrophe and punishment. The flood is sometimes cited as an example of the wrath of God, but Ludy emphasizes the scale of the drama and God’s power.
Mark Ludy is the author of this 11 x 8.5 hardcover book with 64 pages (no words). You can purchase this book on Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble and IndieBound.
