Life is full of choices and the choices we make can destroy us or save us.  I recently reviewed a wonderful movie titled, "Confessions of a Prodigal Son."  In this story a young man by the name of Sean, (Nathan Clarkson) has been raised as a pastor's son, (Kevin Sorbo), and brought up in the Christian way of life.  Somewhere along the years, Sean decides he needs to find himself and what life is really about.  Sean feels that his mother and father have decided his life for him so Sean leaves home to go to college and figure out what is really out there.

Sean begins college with the attitude nothing is serious, everything is a joke.  He parties every night, drinking and taking pills and is consistently late to class.  In one class, Sean is challenged by his professor to find the right path in life and to stay on it.  As usual, Sean doesn't take the professor serious.  Sean's actions result in him being kicked out of the college.

One day while eating lunch, Sean meets a beautiful waitress named Ali, (Rachael Lee).  Ali is very sceptical of Sean and she tries to stay away from him.  Sean proceeds to befriend Ali and soon they start to see one another.  Ali confides in Sean about her past life  and how she was betrayed by her father.  Ali tells Sean that dancing is her escape from the problems of life.  Sean explains to Ali how he has always felt pushed into religion and he says he knows he can make it without God.

Sean's choices soon show him how very wrong he is.  The drinking and partying lands him in a car wreck and it also costs him his friendship with Ali.
Ali begins fellowship for Christian classes and learns that even though she was deserted by her earthly father, her heavenly father will never desert her.
One day, Sean's father preaches about losing his son and how he just wants him to come home.  Miraculously after the church service, Sean shows up ready to come home.  Sean's parents are so relieved - their son is back.
It took 2 years, a new friend , wonderful parents, God and the right decision making for Sean too realize the right way to live.
There is a Bible scripture that says to train your children up in the Lord and they will never depart from it.  I feel this is Sean's story exactly.  Sometimes we all stumble and fall, but God will always be there to pick us up.
I love this movie and I feel sure you will as well.  This movie will be available in stores March 24.  You can purchase it on Amazon.com and other book stores everywhere. It is 90 minutes long, in English and comes on 1 disc.  Please go buy "Confessions of a Prodigal Son"-I know you will not be disappointed.
