My Pet Dinosaur DVD Review and (2) Giveaways

   My Pet Dinosaur is a new movie out this Fall.  The Air base is stationed in a town where there isn't much to do for a kid, but dream up Aliens and dream big.  That is exactly what  Jake has been doing.  After losing his dad, Jake and his family are still trying to recover.   The town has lost a lot of people and it seems to be related to the towns air base.  Jake discovers some remains of an experiment gone wrong and after mixing it with a few other ingredients - wham! instant baby dinosaur!

  One day a girl, Jake's age moves in across the street from him and they are placed together as a team by the science teacher to make an experiment.  Abbie and her dad have moved into the town and her dad is there to try and figure out the problems with the air base.  One day Abbie visits Jake and accidently sees the baby dino. He is so cute and changes colors.Only problem is he grows and he is growing daily.

Hillsong Kids "Can You Believe It?" Review/ Giveaway

  We all love the Hillsong Gospel music group right?  Well, now there is something for children to enjoy,  Hillsong Kids "Can You Believe It?"  This DVD is so good for car trips, Sunday School classes, or just to watch at home. 

Hotel Transylvania 3 Monster Party Edition DVD/Blu-Ray Review

  Our favorite ghoulish family is back at it again, this time in Hotel Transylvania 3 - Monster Party Edition.  This time you get  2 mini - movies plus music, with lots of dancing and singing.
  Mavis surprises Dracula with a trip on a monster, haunted cruise.  The rest of the Drac-Pac insist on tagging along and all goes well ---for a while.  Dracula  falls for the ship's mysterious captain - a human named Ericka.  The rest of the gang are enjoying their cruise playing monster volleyball and eating at monster sized buffets.

Sesame Street: Elmo's World: Elmo Explores Review/ Giveaway

   For years pre-schoolers all across the nation have enjoyed Sesame Street and all the adorable characters.  This show has taught our children to learn their colors, their numbers, their alphabet, manners and how to make friends. On October 2, 2018 Shout Kids! Factory released 2 hours of super fun on dvd : Sesame Street: Elmo's World: Elmo Explores  which you can purchase for any little child you love. This is one, very cute, and fun movie.
   In this exciting Elmo feature, Elmo explores 13 topics with his friends, Smartie the Smart Phone and his other buddy Mr. Noodle. 

"My Little Pony - Fluttershy" on DVD for Children Review/ Giveaway

  Sorry I am just now getting this darling movie out for review and giveaway, but I had a hospital stay and then very sick kids , so as you can see I am a little behind,  But, my Holiday Gift Guide is going up soon and I wanted this out for that.
  Nothing says precious like a My Little Pony and this one is even more precious, her name is Fluttershy and she is adorable.  She is quite reserving, very shy and a best friend to all in Equestrian.
  Some of Fluttershy's friends are Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Apple Jack and even Rainbow Dash.  Even her non-equestrian friend, like Angel the Bunny are some of Fluttershy's best friends.
   Just released, "My Little Pony - Fluttershy" on DVD from Shout Kids!Factory.

My Little Pony - Friendship Is Magic- Twilight and Starlight DVD Review/Giveaway

  Starlight Glimmer is trying to start making friends her new goal and even though she has messed up before, Starlight is determined to succeed this time.  After all Twilight Sparkle has been through, she feels she can teach anyone the magic of friendship and Starlight is her next challenge.  Twilight, at one time, had to learn the actual meaning of friendship herself. 

"Is Genesis History?" Film Review/DVD Giveaway

   Since the beginning of time there have always been people who try to find fault in the writers of the book of Genesis to be the truth.  Genesis is the actual time frame of creation by God that without it we would have no records of how life itself began.  In the first chapter of Genesis you will see our God that made the heavens and the Earth, he added the stars, planets, galaxies and the universe, animals and man, all of creation in just 6 days!  
   There is a film called, "Is Genesis History?"  In this film, of 118 minutes, you will watch as a man visits several other men of different professions, all with relations to history. These men will show relations in their field of study how Genesis is true and yes, part of History.  

"Kikoriki: The Legend of the Golden Dragon" on DVD Review/Giveaway

  Shout!Kids Factory has graciously allowed me to review another children's movie just in. time for Easter.  "KikoRiki - Legend of the Golden Dragon".   This an adorable cartoon movie is coming to North America March 7, 2017
 The lovable simple residents of peaceful Kikoriki Island get involved with their resident scientist.  The scientist invents a device - a helmet called the Improviser.  This machine takes personalities and swaps them with others.  
 Willy is really spineless and wants to tougher, he uses the helmet, but accidentally gets switched with a caterpillar which makes him more spineless. Now he is more scared and fears things more than before.

"The Student Body " on DVD Review/Giveaway

   We live in a country where bullying has been addressed by parents, schools and the media.  We just elected a president who's wife is expected to take a stand on bullying across our nation.  But, with all this talk and "supposed" help to stop bullying, what would you do if your child's school sent home at letter stating that because of their BMI - (Body Mass Index) they were too fat?  BMI is the measurement of one's body mass which actually people like school officials are not able to tell the difference between fat mass and muscle mass and this ends up putting perfectly healthy children to be registered as fat.  The worse part is this "fat letter" which was sent to the schools is coming directly from our United States Government.  
   I received a movie to review from EdifyMovies titled, "The Student Body" and it is amazing.  A story of guts and determination!

My Little Pony - "Friendship Magic" on CD review/giveaway

  Another great movie from Shout!Kids Factory that I recently reviewed was My Little Pony - "Friendship Magic".
  This is another darling sequel to the other My Little Pony movies.  In this movie the group are exploring the Crystal Empire.  Watch as the princess, Twilight Sparkle, and her besties - Rainbow Dash, AppleJack, Rarity, Shutterfly, Pinkie Pie and Spike journey through the magical kingdom. Twilight has to keep an eye out in the kingdom for spies. Twilight also takes on the job to help an old friend learn what friendship means. 

"Miraculous - Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir" DVD Review

  Miraculous™:Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is a newly released movie, (released May 3,2016) and when you see it be ready to be bugged out.  We begin in Paris where 2 seemingly ordinary teens, Marinette and Adrien, are always creating situations at school, with friends and even family members.
But,  when the evil Hawk Moth threatens their favorite home city, these 2 turn into superheros, Ladybug & Cat Noir.  
   Hawk Moth uses evil powers to transform normal people into super villains and our friends, the 2 superheroes have to use all the super powers they can.  Cat Noir and Ladybug have gained powers from their magical friends, so they are ready to protect Paris.

   Too become Ladybug it takes a lot of time.  She first needs a "Kwami" which is a tiny magical assistant named, Tikki.   She also needs a "Miraculous", which are her magical accessories - her tiny earrings.  Tikki uses her Miraculous to transform Marinette, but the magical powers of Ladybug only last a small time.

"Caged No More" on DVD Review

   I just watched one of the best movies I have seen in a long time , "Caged No More".  This movie left me in tears and wiser to a huge problem I had never really thought much about.  Sex trafficing is taking place all across the world and maybe in your own community.  This movie deals with it very realistically and you will not be able to watch it and not be touched.
   Aggie is a cajun black woman that is a god-mother to 2 beautiful young girls.  Aggie watched as the girl's mother overdoses, but first she tells Aggie to please save her girls and that all the information is in the laptop and it explains how her husband, Jack, is involved.  Jack has been abusing the mother for years and has run off with both girls.

"When Calls the Heart - Heart of a Hero" DVD Review/Giveaway

   Episode 3 of Season 3 brings us another great show from the Hallmark Channel and produced by Michael Landon Jr.  This time the town will receive new arrivals - some good, some not so good.  Titled. "When Calls the Heart - Heart of a Hero".
   The town has reinstated Pastor Frank after they forgave him  about his criminal past. but the gang he ran with, the Garrison Gang, are in town and they are making things very hard on Pastor Frank.  The gang is trying to break up Pastor Frank and Abigail Stanton (Lori Laughlin).
   A new nurse has also arrived in Hope Valley to see to Lee Coulter's foot injury.  The nurse, Faith Carter is from Hamilton and just as soon as Faith is settling in her very possessive and jealous fiance arrives.

"Pound Puppies- Showstopping Pups" DVD Review/Giveaway

  Those darling Pound Puppies have another movie out on DVD from Shout! Kids Factory: "Pound Puppies - Showstopping Pups" , and it is another cute movie for all kids.
  Lucky, Niblet, Cookie. Squirt and Strudel are the new song and dance act in Shelter 17.  There guys show off some really cool moves.

Faith of Our Fathers DVD Review/Giveaway

     Faith of Our Fathers is a wonderful story of 2 young men who never met their fathers due to the War in Vietnam.  One was only 1 year old and the other was not born yet when their dads were killed in the war. One son feels the need to know more about his dad and the other had just as soon drink his father's image away.  Together they will find the meaning of their dad's lives and how they were loved.
   As the story begins Eddie and Steven are deep in the jungles of Vietnam on a mission to get out fallen soldiers.  One of these men is a Christian and believes strongly in Christ, the other is doubtful of any believing.  These 2 men become more like brothers than friends in only 5 days.  The war takes the lives of these 2 men, leaving behind sons they will never meet, and their only connection is letters they wrote to their wives and children.

The Legend of Longwood Movie on DVD Review

  The Legend of Longwood is a wonderful family film for all ages due out on June 2 from Shout!Factory.  This movie takes place in the beautiful countryside of Ireland and Germany.  It begins when Mickey's mom decides to move her, her brother and herself to Ireland to live in a rundown mill house they have inherited.  Mickey is devastated about having to leave New York, but since her dad has been missing for 4 years, her mom can't afford to keep them living in New York.
