After working very hard for 4 years, my oldest grandchild will graduate 3rd in her class this June 2. Looking for the perfect gift to give her was going to be super hard until I was asked by Family Christian to review this delightful book by Max Lucado titled, "Let The Journey Begin". This book is perfect for those who will be graduating and beginning a new journey down life's path.
"Let The Journey Begin," is a book full of encouraging words and Bible scriptures for everyone to enjoy. This book will reassure you that God is with you every step of the way. Nothing is too hard to handle or to tough to get through without God. Every step of your way should include God and his plans for you.
Max Lucado is the author of several inspirational and uplifting books. In this book he encourages us to support one another, to forgive, and to treat others as he treats us. There are 4 good habits God wants us to practice:
Prayer, Study, Giving and Fellowship.
One of my favorite Bible verses is used in this book, "Grow in the Grace and Knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ," 2 Peter 3:18. These few words tell us what we need to do to become responsible people. Just read and pray for God's Grace through the ways he teaches.
"Let the Journey Begin," is 176 pages long and it has an area in the back of the book to write your favorite verses or scriptures. It is in English and is a hardcover book. I love this book and I can't wait to give it to my grandaughter. I am so proud of her accomplishments thus far in life and I can't wait to see what else God has planned for her. Hopefully she will read this book daily and learn from the words so that her life will be on the right path.
