I just read the cutest book to my 4 year old grandson, "Would A Worm Go On A Walk?" by Hannah C. Hall. This book has brightly colored and adorably drawn pictures. The story starts off asking," Would a worm go on a walk if you could lead him down the street?" and as you read it watch your little one laugh at the site of animals out of their elements, like this worm in 4 little tennis shoes. My grandson laughed all through this book.
Your child will love listening as you ask if a LadyBug would wear lipstick. No, of course not because some ladybugs are boys. Can a piglet play the piano and sing? No, of course not.
Just as I read the silly question about something an animal might want to do my grandson would say, "No way!" Of course, these animals can't do those silly things because God made them different and unique from each other. Every animal and person are made by God and they are all designed to be themselves and all to be good as they are.
We loved this book and it will become another of my grandson's very favorite books in his collection. I even plan on reading it to my little group of children at church.
This book is just a delightful fun hardback book of 32 pages and great for ages 4-7 years of age.
