This true story of Bart Miller, and his troubled life. Starring Dennis Quaid as Bart's abusive father and Trace Adkins as Bart's road manager, you will watch young 11 year old Bart try to understand why his mother leaves him and why his dad is so mean to him. Bart begins writing words down saying he could only imagine if his life were different.
Bart and his band Mercy Me head out on the road singing their songs. Bart listens to his road manager, Trace Adkins and starts telling the story of his life and he wrote the song , "I Can Only Imagine" in 10 minutes.
