I love cats and I love having my cat inside, but one thing I don't like it how they scratch up my doorways on my wood floor and my carpet in other doorways. You can bet if the door is shut to one of these rooms the cat will scratch to get in. For some reason cats do not like a door to be shut, but we all know there are reasons we need to close off some rooms or just keep the door shut sometimes.
