Smithsonian Rocket Science Kit Stem Toys Review

This is a sponsored post. All reviews are 100% my own opinion. I received this product for review purposes.

I was so lucky to be chosen to review a new line of Rube Goldberg Stem Toys.  I chose the Smithsonian Rocket Science  Kit.  This comes with all the pieces for easy assembly. We were able to put it together in about 15 minutes.  Then you add baking soda and vinegar to lauch the rocket.  It did lauch pretty well, about 40 ft. in the air.  A great thing about this rocket is that it doesn't tear up when it crashes so  it can be used again and again.

I bought this for my 10 year old's birthday and he loved it!  I think it is great that it is not only a fun toy, but a learning experiment also.  I teach homeschool and we studied about how mixing certain chemicals together can cause a reaction. The chemicals used in this toy are not dangerous to work with and they are general household products, but it does show when they are mixed you will get a surprise reaction.

The cost was very reasonable  for only $12.99 at Target.  I love that it is a toy that is fun while a teaching toy as well and it can be used over and over.  It is a unisex toy for ages 10-15.  I give it 5 stars and totally recommend it for the older chidren.  The assembly was easy, but I know a younger child couldn't do the assembly or ingredients unless supervised by a grown up.
All -in -all I love this and rate it as a high quality toy for children ages 10 and up.
