Digs is commitmented to eco- conscious manufacturing, economic development, fair trade, fair wages, as well as quality design.

One of the designer's, Mery Luz, makes beautiful handmade jewelry from Lima Peru.  Mery Luz wanted to work from home because she had a daughter.  Using all natural and green products she began to make jewelry.  Soon her jewelry business took off and she started hiring other stay at home moms.  Today the Mery Luz company is growing and selling beautiful pieces including, brooches,necklaces, bracelets and more.
I reviewed the Gracia Necklace in blue and gray. My 15 year old grandaughter fell in love with it!  All her friends are wearing this type of necklace and she loved it---so did I!

Carefully assembled, crocheted, wrapped and, glued by hand, these jewelers painstakingly make each unique piece, making a playful addition to any wardrobe. Made of scrap and industry by-product.

This beautiful necklace sells for $36.00 and comes in purple/gray, turquoise/gray, orange/brown and red/brown.
