Himalayan Salt Rock Lamp review/giveaway Closed!

review/giveaway

One of the prettiest products I have ever reviewed would have to be the Himalayan Salt Rock I received from the Himalayan Salt Shop based out of Bloomfield, NJ.  This salt rock is such a beautiful addition to my home decor plus it is so helpful for ridding my home of unhealthy allergens in the air.

Are you wondering what a Sock Rock really is?  I had no idea either until I researched it and read all the wonderful information that these rocks are about.

*These salt lamps are made of natural Himalayan crystal salt mined from underground salt mines in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains
*The beautiful orange-reddish Himalayan crystal salt is mounted on a wooden base
*This crystal salt is hundreds of millions of years old and, as a result, has special properties and high mineral content
*Heat from the bulb (in our salt lamps) or flame (in our candle holders) causes the salt to emit negative ions
*These negative ions bond with the pollutants in the air (positive ions) and neutralize them
*Also, the newly bonded ions become heavier and fall to the ground removing them from the air circulation
*In addition, these negative ions combat electro-smog caused by electronic devices operating in the home
*Symptoms from asthma, allergies, and other illnesses can also subside from the effects of these products
* Concisely, these products cleanse the air naturally and are extremely beautiful
A Salt Lamp will cleanse the air around you via natural ionization. Those interested in organic, alternative, and natural means of improving their health are especially fond of these products.

Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamps are made from chunks of salt crystal rock that are taken from the salt mines found in underground caves in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. The Himalayan salt lamp makes use of the minerals that have been preserved for millions of years, releasing their special properties through the introduction of heat from an electric bulb or from the flame of a candle. These special properties emitted from the Salt Lamp are responsible for promoting the health and wellness of individuals via ionization of the air and the eradication of pollution. The special properties Himalayan Crystal Salt Lamps consist of negatively charged ions that act on the contaminants in the air by neutralizing them and weighing them down so they can no longer circulate. When this occurs, individuals can breathe more easily and many ailments and allergies that frequently afflict them begin to diminish.

Himalayan crystal salt lamps come in different shapes, sizes, and weights. Many prefer the natural shape salt lamps as they lend to the nature and the environment while encouraging good health. Others like to complement the aesthetics of their décor and choose the shaped varieties. The lamp can be made into a pyramid shaped Himalayan salt lamp, a globe shaped Himalayan salt lamp, a bowl shaped Himalayan salt lamp that contains small salt chunks within, or even a cross shaped Himalayan salt lamp.
Himalayan crystal salt lamps can also be used as a medium to alleviate several ailments and disorders. They can prevent allergy symptoms from surfacing and also help quell other illnesses such as Attention Deficit Disorder. A Himalayan crystal salt lamp also has a healing effect on the skin and even the mind encouraging concentration and focus.

A
Himalayan crystal salt lamp is a natural ionizer. While it does ionize, it also does much more. A wider definition of a Himalayan crystal salt lamp is that it is an overall healing device helps promote the health and wellness of all individuals who use it.

I have a grandaughter who has severe asthma and I plan on buying her one of these salt lamps soon so that she can keep her asthma under control. With winter coming soon she usually has really bad attacks of bronchitis and pneumonia. I am looking forward to something that will be able to take all these bad breathing problems away for good.

So what is a crystal salt lamp? It is a block of crystallized salt that has been carved out from the inside, leaving a hole into which a light bulb has been inserted. All you have to do is plug it in - the way you do a bedside lamp - for it to give off its soft, calming light. This light aids relaxation and meditation and also helps energize your whole body. These specific effects owe little to mere chance, or to magic or religious powers; though crystal salt lamps display some astonishing qualities, they do so for perfectly concrete, well-identified reasons.

If you would like to own one of these Salt Lamps for yourself you can purchase one on their website and enter my giveaway to try and win one.
