VeggieTales Celery Night Fever DVD Review/Giveaway

It's the 70's again---disco balls and bell bottom jeans.  Well, it really isn't the 70's again, but for the gang from VeggieTales the memories of a great band called, the Groovy Brothers need to become friends again so that Celery Park can be saved.  Actor Terry Crews provides the voice for Bruce Onion who wants to tear down Celery Park and build a parking lot.  But with help from Laura Carrot and Junior Asparagus, hopefully they can help reunite the Groovy Brothers and raise money to buy the park from Mr. Onion.
I received this delightful movie to review and my grandson wants to watch it over and over.  The music and songs are upbeat and fun and the VeggieTales characters are perfect to watch.

Laura Carrot becomes really upset with Junior because he is forgetful and she decides they are not friends anymore.  Just as the Groovy Brothers weren't friends, Laura realizes in order to get the group back together, she must forgive Junior also.
Mr. Onion does everything he can to stop the concert, but it doesn't work, the concert goes on.  The Groovy Brothers find out they are still friends and they are so happy to play again - especially in their park - Celery Park.
This adorable show lets children understand that we all need to forgive our enemies.  They also understand that we all need to stand up for what is right.  In the end of this movie everyone is friends again, the band is back together and  Celery Park is saved!  No more tearing it down!  Even Mr. Onion joins in and sings some of songs with the band,
We are told in ...Ephesians: "Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you".  Celery Night Fever shows little ones how to forgive and trust God's word.

Celery Night Fever is an adorable movie and I of course loved watching it with my grandson.  This movie is full of songs that mimicked the original hits from my generation and this amazed my grandson.  There are 6 fun songs in this movie and 1 really fun song is titled, "Perfect Puppy"
I definitely recommend you purchasing Celery Night Fever for your children or grandchildren,  Sometimes the only way some children can understand God's words is in the form of a song, poem, story or movie.  VeggieTales is a great movie with funny characters and I loved this film.
*You can purchase these and more VeggieTales movies at Target, for around $12, or Family Book Christian Stores, and Best Buy for around $12.99.
