The Aetherlight Bible Game Review

Have you ever wondered if your could get a game for your child to play that had God in it?  Well, there is a game you can download online called, "Aetherlight".  This game was put together by a company, Scarlett City Studios that enables children to play in a game environment with the truth in scriptures.
The Aetherlight game aims to help young people see their stories in the context of God's story via a world that is grounded in the Biblical narrative.  It is designed to engage preteens with the Bible.  Although, this game is made for 10-12 year olds in mind, most anyone older can play it, so it would be great for a Youth Group or Teen class.
Watch the video below to get a glimpse into the game:

When the game first begins it shows Alexander trying to get around, but he has to learn to listen and trust the Scarlet Man.  This story represents the story from the Bible about Abraham and his followers listening to him.  Alexander learns he can't do things by himself - he needs Scarlet Man to teach him.

My grandson loved playing this game.  He liked finding all the tools needed to help Scarlet Man.  You earn tools as you go that help him do as Scarlet Man  asked.  They need to get out of the fog and by fixing their way forward.  This game has great colors and the illustrations are amazing.  All in all, he loved paying it.  He is 12 and I did have to explain the similarities in some of the game situations, but we both liked it and recommend it to other kids.
You can also download the Bible app. for answers to this game.  It can be downloaded on all kinds of phones and tablets, in different languages and different Bible types such as KJV or ASV and many more.  Click below for this link:
