I was raised to believe that chicken soup was the cure all for anyone with the flu, a cold and just for feeling terrible.  I continued this same tradition with my children. 

There have been tests showing that chicken soup can inhibit inflammation of the cells in the nasal passage which reduces the symptoms of a cold.

Chicken soup has also been found to contain an amino acid that is similar to a drug used to treat some respiratory infections.
Spoonful of Comfort was formed after the owner of this company,Marti, found out her mom was diagnosed with Lung Cancer.  Marti decided she would send her mother some chicken soup because she lived so far from her and she felt the soup would be a comfort.  Soon afterwards her mom passed and the idea to help others in their times of need was developed.

Wow!  Is something I would like to say about Doodlebuckets!  If you are looking for a  baby gift basket, diaper cake, party centerpieces, and more then you really must look at all the amazing things Doodlebucket sells.

There are gift baskets for mom, dad, and gourmet baskets.  There are even gifts for big brother/sister and lil' brother/sister.  I could look at Doodlebucket's gift items for hours because each gift is different and unique.

When I was allowed to do this review/giveaway I wanted to choose a basket to review.  This was super hard because truly, they are all wonderful. I knew I wanted it to be a baby gift so I finally decided on the Frog Prince Personalized Gift Basket.

My daughter is expecting a baby boy in Oct. so I thought about what all she would like if she received this basket as a gift when he arrives.
