"The Cow Said Neigh!" A Farm Story by Rory Feek Book Review/ Giveaway

 
  Rory Feek  wrote the cutest book, which he dedicated to his little girl, Indiana.  "The Cow Said Neigh ! "  A Farm Story,  is about a farm of mixed up animals and it makes for quite a day.
  In the beginning of the story, the cow in the barn notices the horse in the field and he wishes he was the horse.  The next thing you know, the cow says, "neigh."   As the story goes on all different animals on the farm begin to make the sound of another farm animal. The duck says, "Baaa", the pig says, "Ruff ", the dog says, "Meow" and it goes on and on.

  I was blessed to receive the most precious book for children.  This night time story book is so sweet.
"Go To Sleep, SHEEP!"  is a softly spoken story about 4 little sheep who try their very best to stay up at bedtime and mommy sheep says , "Go to sleep, sheep"
 The little sheep ask to have 5 more minutes to stay up, or to eat a snack or to be tickled.  Anything to stay awake, they try to get their mom to let them, but it doesn't work.  Mommy sheep knows they need their sleep.

"One Christmas Bear" A Children's Christmas Book Review/Giveaway

  Just in time for the holidays, Anne Vittur Kennedy has written and illustrated a darling book about a bear, his friends and family.
  I received this book, One Christmas Bear", and immediately read it to my grandson.  He wanted me to read it as a bedtime story again and then on the second reading, he began to fall asleep.  He loves this book!

   Rick Warren has written an easy to read and easy to understand book for children titled, "God's Great Love For You."  I was lucky enough to review this book and the children loved it.  Simple sayings such as, God loves you  deeper than the oceans, " and the page shows a boat on water with two whales swimming by, really shows a child just how much God loves them.  It is the simpleness and easily written  sentences that hold a child's attention and gets right to the point.

" A Very Thankful Prayer" Children's Book Review/Giveaway

  It's almost Fall and there is a beautiful hardback book written for children that helps us celebrate this time of year with a great amount of thankfulness.  "A Very Thankful Prayer" is written by Bonnie Rickner Jensen and illustrated by Natalia Moore.  This book is full of delightful, assorted animals who tell what they are thankful for.

"Emily's Sister" a Book for Children by Michele Gianetti Review / Giveaway

   I received another book to review titled, "Emily's Sister" from Book room reviews.  This book was written by Michele Gianetti.  When I began reading this book, I quickly remembered my middle grandson who has a Sensory Processing Disorder and ADHD, but when he was a baby we had no idea he had these disorders, we just knew he was different.  I  definitely would have loved to had this book back when he was a baby, he is 8 now, but it would surely have helped our family understand and cope better with him.

  In this book Emily has a little sister and Emily notices all her sister Elizabeth does is cry. Elizabeth cries all day at everything.  One day Emily's mom hires a babysitter to set with Elizabeth and she and Emily have a mom and daughter day out.

Audrey Bunny Book Review/Giveaway

 Audrey Bunny is a delightful book about a stuffed bunny who lives in the barrel at the toy store.  Audrey feels like she is not wanted because she is different from other bunnies.  Audrey has a smudge mark over her heart.  
 One day a little girl named Caroline comes into the toy store to chose a gift for her birthday.  Audrey Bunny is really hoping Caroline will choose her.  Caroline reaches into the barrel and pulls out Audrey Bunny!  Audrey cannot believe Caroline chose her, she guesses that Caroline didn't see her smudge.
