"One Christmas Bear" A Children's Christmas Book Review/Giveaway

  Just in time for the holidays, Anne Vittur Kennedy has written and illustrated a darling book about a bear, his friends and family.
  I received this book, One Christmas Bear", and immediately read it to my grandson.  He wanted me to read it as a bedtime story again and then on the second reading, he began to fall asleep.  He loves this book!

"Why Do We Call It Christmas" on DVD Review/Giveaway

   Have your children ever asked you, "Why do we call it Christmas?" or when was Jesus born?  Where do we get the name Jesus?  Questions such as these have been asked many, many times and some of them I wasn't completely sure of until I watched this movie with my grandson today.
  "Why Do We Call It Christmas?" is a darling movie that runs for about an hour, is full of laughs and bright colors, and a lot of knowledge about Christmas.  I received this DVD in the mail today and my grandson wanted to watch it immediately - so we did.

Santa PNP - Portable North Pole Review

 The sounds of Christmas is in the air and you can begin to feel that excitement rise as the little one's get ready for Santa Claus to arrive on Christmas Eve with lots of goodies.  I know this is how it is at my house.  The tree is up and presents are beginning to pile high.  My grandson loves Santa and he was so excited when he received a phone call from him tonight and one day this weekend he is sending a video straight to him from the North Pole.  If you are wondering how this is really happening then you must check out the Portable North Pole.

Coming Home For Christmas DVD Review/Giveaway

  It's that time of year when cold nights, hot chocolate and a good family movie on DVD sounds very good.  Finding clean, family movies is the hard part.  I did find a great one when asked to review "Coming Home For Christmas" for FlyBy Promotions.  This movie is a great movie with no curse words and nothing the kids have to turn their heads on.

My Pal for Peace Doll review/giveaway

  I have reviewed products for 4 years now and most have been wonderful products.  Never have I reviewed for a company that I believed so much in as I do for My Sibling Dolls.  My Sibling Dolls make My Pal dolls, they come as boy and girl dolls.  Loretta Boronat is the founder of this wonderful company. Loretta also provides "Job Sampling" to young people with disabilities.  These students get a chance to help with packaging and assembling the dolls.  By doing this, these people are learning what it would be like to work for a company.  It is good experience for them.  I am speaking for those they help and from my heart, when I say how truly wonderful it is of them to help these people out.  The world needs more companies, and more loving people, like yourself.

  Loretta let me decide which doll I wanted to review.  There are many to choose from and it was really hard to pick just one.  With the holidays right around the corner I considered the My Pal for Christmas and My Pal for Giving Thanks.

These are precious little boy dolls that I know any child would love.  

The First Christmas Night Book Review/Giveaway

  Everyone loves the story of the first Christmas but, there is a new book out from Ideas Books that tells the exact same story with the words in a lyrical form.  "The First Christmas Night" , is a beautiful, hardback book by the author: Kieth Christopher.  The story of baby Jesus being born of Mary, in a stable full of gorgeous animals, and the angels of heaven rejoicing in his birth is absolutely wonderful.  I read this book to my grandsons this morning and they never moved as I read each page.  They loved the animals and baby Jesus' pictures.  One of my grandson's who is 5, especially loved the "kings" - actually the 3 Wise Men who brought gifts to the newborn king.

 Do you know of a place that sells cupcakes you can put in your bath?  Or you may want a dino in the tub with the kiddos.  How about a place that sells wonderful aromatherapy items that help you relax while bathing?  There is a wonderful place online that has all these great bath items and many, many more.  This shop is - Smith & Vandiver and I love it!
 I was allowed to review a few of  Smith & Vandiver's Holiday soaps, a lotion, and a fizzy cupcake soap.  The Fizzy Holiday Cupcake is the most yummiest smelling soap you will ever smell.  My grandson thought it was real and tried to take a bite - it looks and smells this realistic.
