"Why Do We Call It Christmas" on DVD Review/Giveaway

Have your children ever asked you, "Why do we call it Christmas?" or when was Jesus born?  Where do we get the name Jesus?  Questions such as these have been asked many, many times and some of them I wasn't completely sure of until I watched this movie with my grandson today.
"Why Do We Call It Christmas?" is a darling movie that runs for about an hour, is full of laughs and bright colors, and a lot of knowledge about Christmas.  I received this DVD in the mail today and my grandson wanted to watch it immediately - so we did.

(Please excuse the silly facial expressions lol )

In this whimsical movie, the "puppet - like" characters ask many questions about Christmas and Buck Denver helps his friends find the answers.   Did you know that no one really knows the exact day that Jesus was born on?  Scholars set Christmas around the time they believe Jesus was born considering all facts.  "Christmas" comes from the words -"mass" and "Christ".  Celebrating in a large church with many people, it was mass time and since the celebration was about Christ, the name was formed from the 2 words - Christmas.

Watch the trailer below for a look at this awesome movie:

Buck sings many great Christmas songs throughout this movie and I know your child will really love listening to them like my grandson did.  Watch this movie with your child and be ready to answer some questions yourself.  This is a fun filled, biblical teaching movie and it is perfect for the holidays.  Christmas is a glorious time of year and with this movie your child will learn why.  I definitely recommend this movie.
