Everyone loves the story of the first Christmas but, there is a new book out from Ideas Books that tells the exact same story with the words in a lyrical form. "The First Christmas Night" , is a beautiful, hardback book by the author: Kieth Christopher. The story of baby Jesus being born of Mary, in a stable full of gorgeous animals, and the angels of heaven rejoicing in his birth is absolutely wonderful. I read this book to my grandsons this morning and they never moved as I read each page. They loved the animals and baby Jesus' pictures. One of my grandson's who is 5, especially loved the "kings" - actually the 3 Wise Men who brought gifts to the newborn king.
