Kutless Alpha/Omega CD Review/ Giveaway

  Kutless' newest album, Alpha/Omega is definitely my favorite of this great Christian band.  With a touch of classic rock added to calm, odd fashioned gospel music, this CD is perfect for all ages. This awesome group has been together 17 years with 12  #1 radio hits.

  Each song is a reminder of God in our life and this album displays God in every aspect of our lives.  Jon Micah Sumrall, (a member of the Kutless group) says he feels music can make a difference in people's lives.  He also says the group hears many times from different people how one of their songs impacted their life.  This is why I really love this group and their music. I feel the words to the songs really touch the heart and they help spread the word of God.

  In 2012, Kutless formed End of The Age, (EOTA), which is a non-profit aid that help them spread the word by hosting large, free, outdoor concerts around the globe.  In Belarus, a communist country, 100,000 people heard Kutless and 40,000 committed to Christ!  How can anyone not love a group such as Kutless?  It is proven by their actions that they are in the music making business for more reasons than to be rich or famous.

  Matthew West is a gospel male singer who just put out an amazing CD titled "All In" . This CD is due is stores Sept. 22, 2017.  This CD is so good, you are going to love it!
  I can't pick a favorite song on this 14 song list album, but I would have to say my 2 most played songs are , "Broken Things" and "All In".  "Broken Things" speaks about not being worthy to enter Heaven, but hoping God will except us with all our brokenness.  It is beautiful.

Nichole Nordeman "Every Mile Mattered" CD Review/Giveaway

  If you haven't heard Nichole Nordeman sing, you definitely need to.  Nichole found herself asking the same question David asked God, " Where can I go from your spirit?  Where can I flee from your presence" Psalms 139.  David was good at  running from God and Nichole had become just like David. She was raised in church, in youth groups, mission trips and she only really found God behind the piano.  Soon, Nichole became friends with people who didn't act very Godly and she was sneaking in smelling of liquor and tobacco.  Nichole tried to write songs and she could feel Jesus sitting right beside her on the piano bench, but she still wasn't complete, she was still running and waiting on God to catch her.  Finally, Nichole realized all she had to do was say "yes" to God's invitation and like David, there was no need to run, she just excepted God and so her life fully began.

Mandisa "Out of the Dark" CD Review/Giveaway

  I remember voting every time you could for Mandisa when she was on American Idol.  I love her voice and the sound of the soul in her songs is definitely a voice you will remember.  I knew she would go far after she left that show and she sure did.  You will love her new CD, "Out of the Dark".

Kari Jobe - "The Garden " CD Review/Giveway

   Kari Jobe just released her latest album, " The Garden " on 2/3/17 and it is a beautiful CD.  My favorite song is, "The Garden", but all the songs are wonderful.  
   Kari's "The Garden Tour" begins Feb. 19 at the Special Album Release Night of Worship at War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.  She will then continue on to 30 more concerts, ending in Memphis, Tennessee on April 9.
  This album is definitely God inspired and Kari says she felt his inspiration throughout the writing and making of each song.  She also says she hopes that everyone who listens to this album will find their own garden in their heart.

Amy Grant Tennessee Christmas CD Review/Giveaway

  Christmas time is in the air and there is no better way to spread the Christmas cheer than listening to the beautiful voice of Amy Grant.  I received a wonderful CD just in time for the holidays and I have been playing it in the car and in the house constantly.  This CD is titled, "Amy Grant Tennessee Christmas".

  "Tennessee Christmas", is the first song on the album and Grant says she recorded this song at the early age of 22 and she says 33 years later she is still singing it.  "Come on weatherman, give us a forecast snowy white. Can't you hear the prayers of every childlike heart tonight?"..."Another Tennessee Christmas, the only Christmas for me."  I love the words to this song and these are just a few, but they make you feel all cuddly and warm.  It is one of my very favorite's on this CD.

Joy Williams CD-Venus Review

  If you have ever heard of The Civil Wars folk-rock group, then you most likely will recognize the name,  Joy Williams.  Joy went out on a limb to start her own  musical career after The Civil Wars broke up.  In this CD you will notice how Joy opens up about her life, fears, and disappointments.

  I was fortunate enough to hear all 11 songs on a download.  I certainly like all the songs, but I have 3 favorites:
1. Until The Levee Breaks
2. Till Forever
3. Welcome Home

 Joy sings about her journey out of darkness to become her own woman.  Venus is an album with life touching songs.  I am a big fan of folk music and this album is a new part of my collection.
