I received the Rubbermaid 2-in-1 Recycler and I must say it is a really great product. I love how there are 2 separate areas for trash and what ever you recycle. I recycle cans so the top part is what I used to put the cans in. I used the lower part for regular trash. It is so simple for everyone to now just toss the cans in the top - step on the lever at the bottom of the trash can and - throw the rest of their trash in the bottom part. The kids now love to throw away their trash. After the top is full I just separate it with ease from the bottom, grab the green handle and take the cans to the recycle bin. Simple as that!
You may want to use this 2- in- 1 recycler for nothing but recyclables. You could keep cans in the bottom and plastic or glass in the top. Whatever you decide to do with your 2- in- 1 Recycler from Rubbermaid is up to you.
